Jonny's not marching any more

The woes continue for Chivas USA - Jonny Bornstein is out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury. He has a lateral collateral ligament sprain, picked up in Thursday's training.

I talked to a somber Panchito Mendoza briefly after Friday's training. "It's been a difficult start to the season this year," he stated.

Jesus, it sounds like the Galaxy's woes from last year.

Ouch.

Out of curiousity (being a Revs fan...), what lineup to you think Chivas will run out with?

Nice to see people revel in another's pain.

As far as this injury goes Bornstein was probably going to miss a lot of time with the US anyway. Big loss for the team certainly but for jonny this is a terrible setback.

The backline will look different against the revs. I'd expect curtin and shavar in central d and carey talley somewhere in the back. Left back, who knows? Maybe panchito.

Bahaha. Panchito in the back? That's laughable. The kid gets knocked down at any physical contact. I honestly don't know who's going to fill in for Johnny.

Let's go Chivas.

Id much rather have started Panchito at left back than Eric Ebert. At least Panchito is comfortable with the ball.
