Hush, little babies

Who would have guessed that David Beckham would pick up the gesture torch from LD's infamous "game over" throat slash in Dallas last year?

Well, he did, with a cheeky kiss goodbye to Adrian Serioux and a shushing gesture to fans after assisting on the final goal.

I think we can safely say that they hate Beckham in Dallas. After the red card, he was getting booed every time he touched the ball.

Yeah well as we all found out when they reacted the way they did to the concept that a player can't play injured and the fact they had bought tickets to FC Dallas v LA Galaxy - not just to see Backham last year - there aint too many people in Dallas who know anything about soccer so they probably think the red card was a bad call. It wasn't.

Wow, am I the only person who thinks that Serioux's tackle was so bad that it also deserves a three game suspension?

His "welcome, baby welcome" comment afterwards also indicated that the tackle was malicious. I think MLS definitely needs to suspend him or we're going to continue to see bush league play in this league, especially victimizing the better players.

The guy who jumped off the Dallas bench to push Beckham also deserves a multi-game suspension. I think it was Ricardinho, but can't tell without the hair.

The league needs to crack down on this nonsense.
