Santos and Monterrey tied 1-1 in Monterrey on Thursday. Monterrey went down a man early and as a result Santos sent numbers forward all match. The Laguneros, though, were only able to put one goal away.
Still, Santos needs just a draw to advance to the Mexican league final.
