Indios gain promotion

Indios of Ciudad Juarez will play in the Mexican First Division next season after the club tied Leon in Sunday's decisive second leg. The match finished at 2-2 and Indios took the series on a 3-2 aggregate.

Marco Antonio Vidal, a native of Texas, played the entire game for Indios. It remains to be seen, though, if Vidal or many of his teammates actually get to play next season. Teams commonly overhaul their rosters upon ascending. Vidal, though, was a regular on the club this season.

Once again the real King Club of Mexico strikes.

2nda Div. Champions - Ciudad Juarez
3era Div. Champions - Pachuca Jrs.
3era Div. RunnersUp - Universidad del Futbol

All 3 of those teams are owned by Grupo Pachuca. All of the players in those teams belong to CF Pachuca.

Pachuca will sell its stock in Ciudad Juarez to avoid a conflict of interest, but my god, everything they touch turns to gold.

Chivas my ass.

How close is Tijuana to promotion. I heard that with their new stadium, they are trying to get into the first division within the next year. That will result in 2 border cities with first division teams.
