Thanks for convincing me to add Fox Soccer Channel. I'm enjoying the Fire/Red Bull game right now. Good stuff.
Ouch. Red card to the Fire. Conde is out and a pk is given. Angel put it away.
WOW! Chicago equalizes. Blanco free kick to Gonzalo Segares. Wow.
Toyota Park looks great, by the way. The fans really celebrated that one.
Ha, I didn't mean to turn this into a running blog - just a thank-you note, but then a barnburner started in this match.
Wow, Magee nearly scored there. He might be on his way back.
Both teams totally going for the win. I think this game has another goal.
I guess not. It did have a yellow card for Cuauh, the Man of the Match. Game ended in a hard-fought tie.

I can't believe that these 2 teams play in the largest and 3rd largest cities in the country, and yet there is no english audio provided by either team:-(!
... there is no english audio ...
The Red Bulls do not have English radio coverage.
I don't know how you survived all this time without it!!!
Thank you, yes you've needed FSC badly for awhile. Classic Bretos in the booth last night too - the guy is always fun to listen to. Toyota Park with Blanco is a totally different place now.
The best Mexican player never to shine in europe. In his prime he was one of the top ten player in the world and every bit as good as overyhyped Beckham (who I do not dislike).
Glad to see Blanco getting his well deserved due in MLS. He needs MLS to prove once and for all what an amazing player he is, and MLS needs him.
What is even more amazing to me is all the haters such as Wynalda and co. who have been quieted who said he would be an all time bust because he was too old and slow and couldn't handle the physical MLS style. All hogwash, the guy can flat out play with anyone.
Great point FC Uptown. Each time Blanco touches the ball, there's an air of anticpation in the crowd. Everybody is waiting to see what magic he'll put together.
I've seen this kind of anticpation in Chicago with Bobby Hull (Blackhawks), Michael Jordan, and now Devin Hester from the Bears. At Toyota Park, Blanco is getting folks up off their seats.
The incredible thing is that kids are responding to him and we're no longer hearing moms & pops complain when we stand up to watch Blanco perform - because their kids are already up on their seats!
Whenever Blanco takes a corner kick or free kick, the fans are pounding on the stands so there's a wall of sound like I've never heard at TP.
The attendance has picked up so now the Fire is playing to near capacity AND the best thing is that the fans are involved in the match - not just chatting or stuffing their faces. It's a great change of atmosphere and it's Blanco's performance and Osorio's planning that's making the difference.
One thing, Chad Barrett just isn't up to it right now. Maybe someday but he can no longer be in the lineup.
As to no English audio, well, where's the market for it in Chicago? Just doesn't exist yet.
AC glad you got FSC now you too can watch Harchester United on Dream Team!
I think each team/the league would be wise to make sure each game has live audio coverage. I'm not just talking about radio. I'm talking about fans being to listen the games. Some games are blacked out or have limited regional coverage. It would be nice to at least sit back and listen to play by play.

It wasn't "hogwash". He's 34, with a history of injuries, and a long history of attitude problems. If he decided he didn't like Osorio, he'd be playing at 10% of the level he's at now. Fortunately for the Fire -- and the league -- Osorio has been able to connect with him and get him motivated.

We'll see how great he is when the referees grow as tired as the rest of us are of his CONSTANT diving and career ending injuries every time someone breaths on him.
The one thing I liked about MLS over other leagues is they guys play... divers were in the minority. This guy makes Ruiz look like a tank.
