Palencia sighting

Former Chivas USA star Francisco Palencia assisted on the eventual match-winner in Pumas' 2-1 win over Tecos on Friday.

Palencia set up the second of Esteban Solari's goals as Pumas held on to beat Tecos.

Palencia has not played much this year. He made his season debut on Sunday when he played the final 21 minutes against Necaxa and he played the final 21 minutes on Friday as well. Since the middle of the Apertura 2007 season, Palencia has been used mostly as a late-game substitute and given Pumas' depth it's difficult to imagine Palencia becoming a starter once again.
