The Trillium Cup

What is a trillium? Well, here's a picture. Now, who can explain what the Trillium Cup is?

Is that what they named the "rivalry" between Columbus and Toronto? Should have picked something more imposing than a flower...

The Trillium is the provincial flower for Ontario and the state wildflower for Ohio so it's fitting in that regard.

Beside Trillium sounds better than Poutine and no one in Canada knows what a Buckeye is.

trilliums are known for being very sensitive. If you pick one it needs around 7 years to bloom again... trillium cup occurs every 7 years??

Here's The Trillium Cup!
Ok, kidding. Edward was right. But where is the pic of the Cup the teams will play for? Perhaps they haven't designed the trophy yet.
