The return of K-Mart
Sort of. Former Galaxy player Kyle Martino will be on the broadcast of the Developmental Academy Finals. He's going to be adding color commentary to the match announcing.
wow...did that guy ever fall off the face of the earth or what? i can't think of too many athletes that were as highly touted as he was only to basically disappear without the aid of substances or massive injuries. he just flamed out. damn.
couldn't agree more...this guy had some flaws but had no trouble shredding MLS defenders when he was on form. I know his defense wasn't much to speak of but how is he not on another team? Or in USL? maybe he wanted to stay in LA no matter what.
I remember seeing Martino featured on an episode of the Fox Soccer Channel's Beckham USA show last year, and thinking he could do standup, or game commentary.
He's a natural: smart, witty and articulate.
Fox should immediately hire him to call MLS games.

But he did "retire" because of serious injury...
