No Memo for you

Just to update our readers on an earlier post, seems Everton won't be Guillermo Ochoa's final destination after all.

Everton boss David Moyes said that
Memo was not a player they were interested in obtaining.

That doesn't mean that Ochoa won't wind up in Europe of course. For his benefit and for the benefit of the Mexican national team, Ochoa should go somewhere in Europe. With Carlos Vela and Giovani Dos Santos already in England, the EPL could stand for the arrival of another young Mexican international.

i told you gusy that made no sense Howard is still young and is getting better and better. no way memo could take his spot as long as he was there. this is just america/agent putting hype out there to get some money.

Off topic, but Eriksson just named the list of players he's calling up for the national team, and Mediotiempo says that Francisco Torres got called up for the qualifier against Honduras. The website says its Francisco Torres from Santos, but in the podcast they said it was the Jose Francisco Torres from Pachuca.

LB, do you have any idea which one it is?

I read that it was the Santos guy. Let me check some other stuff.

i wonder if manchester united is going to pursue memo like they did last summer(i think). fergie hasn't been able to develop good goalkeepers but knows how to find them.
