After an intense match and an electric atmosphere last Saturday, Home Depot Center sits quietly tonight.
On one hand, it's actually good that there is no game tonight. I get to watch the Oscar De la Hoya-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight.
But then, it'll feel a little strange with games being played today and tomorrow around the league not having anything to cover in person.
My sadness won't last long, though. On Tuesday, we've got the Galaxy-Red Bulls Open Cup qualifier. Then, the Galaxy hosts New England next week.
I guess I should enjoy a quiet weekend. There will be a game to cover every weekend starting next weekend until the first weekend in August, when the X Games take over.
