Scoring threat
The rumors of a trade for Carlos Ruiz made sense partly because the Galaxy have lacked a pure goalscorer, and some people see that as crucial to their success. However, Cobi Jones sees it a little differently.
"I don’t think it’s too much of an issue. We scored two goals in this [last] game; we scored in the games before. We’re getting goals, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. We lapsed defensively. As a unit, we need to be able to win games."
