Home to Honduras
Ives Galarcep has broken the news that Chivas USA is not taking Amado Guevara for any more rides on the MLS merry-go-round. He's headed back to Honduras.
This has got to be a great time to be someone who writes about MLS. With the offseason fireworks and the action in just the first month...lots of good material, huh?
No kidding. This thing blew up like a firecracker. It all happened so fast that the developments literally changed by the minute on Thursday. First, we were asking players about Guevara being traded, then we were asking them about Guevara's trade falling through but the club's decision to keep him away from the team, now we're hearing that he's going back Honduras.
I keep thinking "just one week ago, we were gearing up for Amado Guevara's first Clasico" and now he's gone and soon will be forgotten.

What a bizarre, bizarre saga this is.

I'm also quite happy that FC Dallas didn't get him. I'd rather not see the Hoops' season flushed down the drain this early.
Happy to see him out of the league. So, any predictions on the next big drama? They're coming at us fast...
The June transfer window is right around the corner so we will probably have more drama than "One Life to Live" here in MLS.
