Galactic mystery?
I took my students to a local library to check out some books, and look what I found on display in the children's reading room. I suppose someone from the Galaxy stopped by years ago on one of those community visits they sometimes do to promote reading. Can anyone figure out whose signature is on this ball?

The reason I didn't post this as a quiz is that I don't know myself. I'm puzzling over it, too.
I'd guess Alexi Lalas, but I think he's illiterate...;D
Kevin Hartman!
A.C. it looks like the ball is older than the 05 season when the green became real green... as for the signature it looks a litte like the one I have from Ty Marshall
Well, here's my best guess, and I'm going to try to get confirmation, though I'm still not sure how to do that. Like one poster mentioned, the logo bears the old colors of the Galaxy, specifically the teal that was an unusual standout in the early years. The last part of the sig seems to say #6 and Dan Calichman wore that in the early days of the G's. I couldn't really get a "D" from the first part of the signature, though, but then I realized that I might be looking at it wrong. It could actually be a quickly scribbled face with a nose as a prominent feature (Calichman had a proud schnoz). So, in this interpretation, it's a caricature, then a slightly crooked "C" sliding up to the "L" and then the number sign "#" and a 6. That's my guess right now.
