I'm sure people can guess which soccer moment makes this list, but #15 is also a special one for me.

One of my favorites is the Billie Jean King vs. Bobby Riggs match. Riggs was such an ass in the lead-up to the match that I'm sometimes tempted to think that he was just playing the wrestling villain (to get everybody to hate him before taking a fall to the hero). He wasn't, of course.
Even so, his jackassery probably did more for feminism by accident than most people have done on purpose.
