The Copa America game is a bit misleading since we were pretty evely matched up with Argentina and actually had a couple chances to score, Guardado's shot off the post comes to mind but as usual Oswaldo gave up a goal right before half time and Hugo took out Torrado who was keeping Riquelme in check in the first half. The second half was basically a clinic, as Argentina just pushed forward and got two more goals, one of them a beautiful chip by Messi. If they wanted to, they could've probably scored 3 or 4 more.
That was the game that made me realize Hugo had not tactical acumen at all, he was impotent and the filtered down to the players. Even La Volpe was able to construct a game plan that would allow us to compete against Argentina and it worked out pretty well until Maxi Rodriguez put on the superman cape and did us in.
Tonite is going to be an interesting game since we will both have different squads than those from the past 2 games we've played and both teams are rather young. It'll be fun.
