The U.S. Open Cup bid farewell to seven USL clubs and one USASA side and will welcome eight MLS teams now after a full slate of games on Tuesday. The remaining games will pit MLS teams against USL sides; Cleveland, Richmond and Baltimore are all USL-2 sides while the rest hail from the USL first division.

the sounders are up against chivas usa in the open cup? does that mean that the cuban cracks (the ones who "deserted" their team in the middle of olympic qualifying and were later turned down by the galaxy and chivas) get to show what the mls is missing out on? sounds like this could be a canales special, one of those price-of-freedom type of numbers.
