Perspectives on the beautiful game of soccer; fueled by enormous amounts of coffee
Thanks AC for the posts. All pretty low key, some taken from Pia's interview now posted as a quote sheet on the USSF site. It's interesting to hear her talk about her attitude and even "body language" as a coach needing to set the right tone for the team: excitment and anticipation, not trepidation. She really is such a wonderful change from past coaches, just terrific! I think they're gonna be fun to watch in Beijing, win, lose, or draw.Fun to watch, too, your video corners. You'll end up on TV if you're not careful. Nice new feature; adds a little change of pace to the blog...got to get LB on there, too.ghost
I've been trying to revive Sideline Views TV with Luis, but it's hard to coordinate schedules to film anything.
check out these comments from scurry on not being picked for the roster. http://www.latimes.com/sports/soccer/la-sp-olysoccer25-2008jun25,0,6683682.storyhonestly its a bit of a slap in the face to Pia after Pia talked about how professional scurry was at taking the news.
