Silverware

The trophy awaits the winner. If the Galaxy claim it, and Real Salt Lake pull out the victory versus Kansas City, the officially worst team in the league will be the SuperLiga champions.

...and if the Galaxy win it you can resort to your usual anti-Mexican rants. Heck, you do that regardless so we might as well brace for it...

This just shows that the Galaxy have a lot of potential next season, once all this craziness gets organized.

RSL just pulled it out, doesn't look like the Gals will do their share though.

The AP says that Beckham was booed when it was announced he wouldn't be coming back on. Can that be true? I've never seen an injured player booed -- even by opposing fans -- when they came off. I may not be cut out for MLS. I REALLY wanted to give it a shot, but I think that would be the last straw.

Pachuca is a much much better team tonight, but it was a great goal by Gordon. Pachuca apparently does not think much of playing defense, but still, it was a sweet goal.

Chris Klein got the goal, it was a great bicycle kick. PK's always ruin a great game, but that's the way it is. I don't think they booed Beckham coming off, but Gordon coming on :)

Second half was a much better game and showed the Galaxy does have some heart and they were in it. Vagenas, Donovan and Xavier need some PK practice. I really thought Donovan would put it in the back of the net and win it, but it was not to be.

Thanks Glen. By the end of the match I was hoping I had heard wrong so that I could hang in for at least another season!

Too bad about ending, but nice to see the Galaxy show some pride during second half (and a bit of skill a newcomer would never have suspected).

I was at the game, and yes, Diane, Beckham was booed. By the Pachuca fans.
