Costly header

Alex Zotinca of Chivas USA was slapped with a three-match ban and fined $1,250 for his head-butt on Galaxy mid Kevin Harmse last week. Harmse, who drew Zoti's wrath with a punch, was fined $250.

That means Zotinca will miss games against DC United, New York and the Galaxy.

Each player already served their automatic one-game suspension Sunday.

3 games? I guess defending oneself by punching is preferred by MLS.

Who's going to score that vital "Own Goal" against DC that Zotinca specializes in now that he's gone??

Harmse gets off lightly for assaulting Zotinca...

If Harmse does not punch Zontinca then there is no head butt. Why Harmse got off so lightly is beyond me. In real life if some one gets in your face and hits you and you retaliate then the person that started it all is at fault. I guess in MLS things work backwards. If it were a player from the other team punching Beckham and Beckham headbutting the guy I wonder what type of fines and suspensions MLS would hand out. Makes you wonder
