Roster's full

In case you missed it, here's the entire MLS All-Star roster. Cobi Jones and Eddie Pope were Commissioner's Picks and it's good that they will be part of this game, considering it's ultimately a meaningless result but it is good to honor two guys who have been a big part of MLS since the inception to be around for this.

Goalkeepers: Matt Reis (New England Revolution), Kevin Hartman (Kansas City Wizards)

Defenders: Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA), Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Michael Parkhurst (New England Revolution), Eddie Pope (Real Salt Lake)

Midfielders: Ricardo Clark (Houston Dynamo), Dwayne De Rosario (Houston Dynamo), Christian Gomez (D.C. United), Cobi Jones (Los Angeles Galaxy), Shalrie Joseph (New England Revolution), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids), Ronnie O'Brien (Toronto FC), Juan Toja (FC Dallas)

Forwards: Juan Pablo Angel (Red Bull New York), Brian Ching (Houston Dynamo), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Eddie Johnson (Kansas City Wizards)

Does anyone think Ching is having a better year than Galindo or Twellman???? Schelotto and Ralston are 1-2 in assists and get the shaft. Doorman bumped in favor of injured and kess productive Ronnoe O'Brien, poor guy could have used the all-star bonus since he makes the league minumum. Crap!

Schelotto's absence is upsetting. The guy has been nothing but class since he stepped on the field and has the assists to prove it. I don't understand taking Ronnie O'Brien over him or Ralston.

And if they were going to take a Houston forward over Maykel Galindo or Taylor Twellman, they should have taken Joseph Ngwenya - he's having a better year than Brian Ching.

I wonder, though, if Steve Nicol was thinking about Celtic and how to beat them and who would be best suited to play against them and if anything like that factored into the decisions.

Schelotto should have gone originally rather than De Rosario. DeRo's play this year does not merit his inclusion at all.
