Winners either way

I was trying to get feedback from fans about SuperLiga, and I interviewed a couple of Chivas USA fans who will be attending the Chivas Guadalajara match versus the Galaxy.

I asked one, "If, in a future edition of SuperLiga, Chivas USA faces Chivas Guadalajara, who will you be rooting for to win?"

He smiled. "I'm a Chivas fan. If Chivas plays Chivas, then whoever wins, I'm going to be happy."

I don't know if he speaks for a lot of Chivas fans, but it was a good answer.

Antonio Cue said during the first year that Chivas USA would never play against Chivas Guadalajara because their brothers and brothers don't fight.

It'll be interesting to see if they are ever drawn into a SuperLiga group or CONCACAF Champions Cup or something where they're forced to play and what Cue and Vergara do about it. I think it'll happen sooner or later.

Who would wear the blue jersey? The Chiva girls might get confused. Legion 1908 would suffer a might split in its ranks. We are all doomed!

Ahem..I'm a CUSA fan. I'd only root for mah CUSA goats. You probably interviewed Guadalajara fans.

I don't think I was wrong - they were at the HDC practice fields watching the CDCUSA reserves practice. I don't think Guadalajara fans would bother with that.

Chivas USA all the way!!! My grandparents will be the ones rooting for Guadalajara and Mexico's national team... they still hold a torch for their former country, while my parents have one foot in the USA and the other in Mexico (they cheer for both national teams and for both Chivas) for me it is Chivas all the way and US. National team. I am so happy that Chivas USA was formed! :) Yeah my family is a bit schizophrenic, but I know of some other families like that. By the time I have kids I bet they will be Galaxy supporters...NAH!!! THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :)>
