Bornstein's back

For the first time since late May, Jonathan Bornstein was a part of Chivas USA. After the club's 2-0 win over FC Dallas on May 26, Bornstein left for the U.S. national team and experienced the highs and lows of the United States' summer. He was a key member of both the Gold Cup-winning U.S. squad and the Copa America 0-and-3 squad.

I caught up with Bornstein after Tuesday's training session and asked him about his summer and his thoughts on pursuing a European contract. Listen to the interview here.

Ahhh...I remember those days of watching jonathan bornstein, benny feilhaber, kamani hill, marvel wynne play for UCLA (all on the same squad), who would have known just three years later they would all be on the USMNT...congrats guys keep up the good work!!! BTW L.B. what is up with the helicopters flying around in your interview? Are the paparazzi readying themselves for Beckham or what? (assuming the interview took place at the hdc)

Yeah, it was at HDC. Maybe the paparazzi were preparing a preemptive strike.
