On Las Vegas, the stadium would have to be AC'd, as even at night they have high temperatures. I imagine a stadium that has fields which roll in and out, so when not being used as a soccer facility, the place can host conventions and slot machines.
Regarding the partnership, Beckham makes all players better, but particularly those with a bit of class and skill. Look for Landon, Pavon, and Xavier to excell when playing with Becks.
Las Vegas I think would make an interesting addition to host a team. The city is growing at an unbelievable pace and they don't have any professional sports team, so soccer could do well. Las Vegas is an active city and I think would turn out for the games. One benefit would possibly be fans from other cities near by that might travel to support their team and create some nice rivalry, Los Angeles is near by (Galaxy, Chivas), Sacramento (Earthquakes in '08), Salt Lake City (Real) and Phoenix when they get their team. Plus it's in Las Vegas- stay for the weekend. Just a thought....
Carlos Pavon doubled his goal output for the entire season once David Beckham became a starter. These two might continue an effective connection.
