Jesus "Chucho" Ramirez will make his debut as Mexico's interim coach on April 16 in a match against China. The match, however, will be a bit of a test for Ramirez and his coaching ability.
April 16 is not a FIFA date and thus the likelihood of any European-based players participating is bleak. Additionally, both Chivas and America have Copa Libertadores matches scheduled for that same day. Thus the Mexican squad that day might be lacking many players who normally would make up the team.
Chucho is in the process of putting the squad together but will have to utilize much of his available resources to fill out the roster.
