After Drew Carey started to lay waste to the US players, Landon decided to get in some extra practice.
Meanwhile, Drew, as befits a good comedian, got in the line of the night when Landon, finishing up his final warm-up game, delayed the start of his match with Drew a little.
"Don't worry," Drew said from the main stage. "Landon will be ready in a minute. He's picking up some grass at midfield."
Great reference to Landon's little rituals on the pitch.
And yes, that is Landon's lovely wife Bianca in the top pic.

I am sad to see no major outlet has picked up this story. I think it says alot about not only soccer as a community, but also Carey, who deserves kudos for what had to be an awesome event. With so much negative press given to celebs, this seems like an easy positive to promote.
No wondeer Landon won. In the top picture you can see that he actually has three arms.
