Toeing the line

Sigi Schmid, despite being happy with his team's win over the Galaxy on Saturday, was not pleased with Galaxy goalkeeper Joe Cannon, in his view, coming off his line early on the penalty kick that Ned Grabavoy failed to convert.

“That’s what Cannon always does. I’ve told the league referees about that, and they’ve never done anything about it. They don’t watch, and they’re never going to call it."

OMG, I always notice how much Cannon cheats. It's ridiculous and it really pisses me off. Sometime this week, I'll make a video showing how bad he's been over the past couple years and send you the link.

Cool, can't wait to see it. I am sure the casual fan does not notice so much, but if he is not following the rules of the game MLS needs to address it with ALL the keepers in the league. The show guys videos of fouls and not what to do, so why not show Goalies cheating off their lines during PK's
