Hans Westerhof has returned to Mexico. He's coaching Necaxa now.Westerhof is best known around here as former Chivas USA and Chivas de Guadalajara coach. He's a character, through and through. When I have more time and energy I'll share some Hans stories.
Hans was at one time a high-ranking figure with Chivas and Jorge Vergara's empire. When he was fired from Chivas and replaced by current coach "Chepo" De la Torre, Westerhof said he'd left Mexico for good and went back to his native Holland. He also said at the time (early 2006) that he wouldn't coach anywhere in Mexico except with Chivas.
Guess that didn't last long.
