Notes at half

U.S. looking shaky in the early going, T-ho bobbled a ball, punched out cross, goal under assault by sharper looking Mexican team.

The U.S. need to settle down. First USA chant tried to rally team. U.S. finally do and look a little more composed putting a first attack on goal,

Early yellow for Bornstein for wrapping an arm around Blanco

Nice attacking play later by Bornstein, getting by his guy to send in a decent cross.

Better defending by Bornstein, but the ball gets into the U.S. area, finally cleared out.

Blanco just helped Albright up after knocking him down, which was nice. Albright gave him a little bootie pat thanks.

Bornstein cuts off pass, starts play upfield for U.S.

T-ho looking more confident in the box.

U.S. gets caught on counter, but Mexico can’t take advantage, ball goes other way.

A young U.S. team doesn’t look shabby, but they’ll look toothless if they can’t make anything happen.

Mex again run nice counter, get corner.

Borgetti gets free from Conrad for header, bangs it just wide.

U.S. counter, finally, Donovan charges into box.

Corner by Convey over everybody, Albright hustle earns second chance, Sanchez cleans up.
