No Andres

My current fave on the Mexican squad, Andres Guardado, isn't going to play versus the U.S. He created a lot of problems for the Americans in the last friendly, with his speed and fearless attacking style. Guardado is an exciting player to watch.

Oh well, perhaps another one of El Tri's young talents will step up.

He certainly created a headache for Jonathan Spector...

That was a mutual thing - Andres was in bad shape after that.

I'm just want to see a good showing from the U.S. more of an attacking style of play. I'm sure it'll be a a physical game, it usually is between our Nat. team and Mexico's.

But I think we need to start playing other countries and this goes for Mexico as well. North America needs to keep developing their soccer and I see this from playing in Europe/S. America more.

One question though, was it true the last couple times we played Mexico, there was no sportsmanship after the game of just a handshake? I wasn't there so I can't be sure, just what was reported.

I wasn't at the Gold Cup, so I can't tell you what happened there. I didn't see any handshaking at the friendly in Glendale, Arizona, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
