I'm going to try and do these power rankings on Monday morning exclusively for this blog (yippee!). Why? Because readers like lists.
This is solely based on what I saw and have seen from clubs and not necessarily potential (such as: 'Aw, this team played like crap but they have these two guys who were playing hurt and another two out of the lineup...). Uh, KC is ranked solely on potential... for this week only :)
1. Colorado. Gomez-Brown-Nico combination strong. Quick, someone nickname them
2. Chicago. Mapp, Rolfe, Barrett... and Logan Pause. Actually, its his first goal in 97 career MLS games
3. Chivas USA. Kljestan Kould have sKored a Kouple more
4. Galaxy. Showed more than Houston; marksmanship just a bit off
5. FC Dallas. Did well to come back from late deficit
6. Kansas City. Didn't shoot themselves in the foot like others beneath them
7. Columbus. Game was ug-
8. Red Bulls. -ly as all hell
9. Houston. Dynamo forgot their game in Mexico
10. Real Salt Lake. Unacceptable way to finish match
11. New England. Game plan was to stop Mapp, Rolfe and Barrett... which they did
12. D.C. United. Maybe they just don't play well at altitude
13. Toronto FC. Showed signs early, showed nothing late

I do rankings for espn.com as one of their writers, and my list was a lot closer to yours. The other writers there disagreed with me. Oh, well, it's a big world. There's lots of room for opinions.
A
Nice. I like how the top 4 came away with a combined 1-1-2 record.
I guess some people for my list were probably like "Hey buddy, what the hell games were you watching?"
