It's over

Pachuca 5, Houston 2.

Pachuca moves on to face Guadalajara in an all-Mexican final.

Now, in nine of the past MLS vs. Mexico series, MLS has one win and Mexican clubs have eight. The one win was Kansas City over Santos in I think 2002. MLS clubs now have an aggregate disadvantage of 33-6 over those games.

The sad thing is people really think that preseason is the biggest reason why MLS loses these matches. To keep it short there is a lot factors going into to this then just preseason. How about talent at every position also altitude blah blah zzzzzzzzz. I look forward to tomorrow's articles.

pachuca was incredible last night. if they continue to play like that, they will dismantle chivas.

i thought houston was decent at times and i think they showed they can compete. but they didn't have it for the entire 90.

i'm upset that an mls team didn't get through to the next round. but can't wait for super liga, b/c these games were great.

Pachuca is the best team nobody knows about. Chivas and America get all the hype but those two teams have combined for three league titles since 1999, when Pachuca was promoted from the second division. Pachuca has five league titles and the only South America cup a Mexican team has ever won. And they've gone through coaches like crazy: Jose Luis Trejo, Javier Aguirre, Alfredo Tena, Enrique Meza. It's the club that wins, not names, not coaches, not money.
