Ingenious

A lot of people have assumed that the flag that the Legion 1908, the Chivas USA supporters group, unfurled for their season opener must have been incredibly expensive.

Well, it was actually a nice marriage of resources, creativity and manpower. Someone in the group had access to a large amount of unusual fabric. The pattern for the design was laid out and the Legion members got together to color it in. Because the fabric was too light and flimsy to be painted on, they used red Sharpie markers.

Clever, no? And still very impressive-looking.

Oh my goodness that's a lot of Sharpies. I bet they were all high off the fumes after their little art project.

Actually I dont think anyone got high off the fumes, afterall everyone was in a well ventilated area (outside).
