Well, we broke the news here first when we said Columbus was close to signing a name South American. Other journalists picked up the trail from here and linked Boca Juniors legend Guillermo Barros Schelotto to the Crew. Now it looks like it's going to happen.

Now after nabbing arguably England's highest-profile player and Mexico's highest profile player and an American legend, one of Argentina's legendary players will too join MLS. Barros Schelotto is in his 30s, like Beckham, Blanco and Reyna. But like the other three DP slots, Barros Schelotto has a lot of game left in him.
