There seems to have been more media coverage - at least in Mexico - on the Chivas-D.C. series. It helped that Chivas is a high-profile club in a big city. Still, there were some stories about Pachuca's hopes of making it an all-Mexican league final.
Here's what Christian Gimenez had to say about tonight's game:
"We have the disadvantage of being down two goals. Even though it's going to be an extremely difficult match, it is not impossible to turn the score in our favor."
By the way, the price of admission is $0.
"The free admission is to allow people to come and support us and enjoy the match and for us to feel the support on the field."
Gimenez also said the early part of the game would set the tone.
"We need to pressure them from the start of the game, the first 15 or 20 minutes, so that they know that they are in Pachuca at altitude."

The free entry move smacks of desperation.
This game will hinge on the first and last 15 minutes. Survive the charge, hold on at altitude.
The fmood from the supporters online reflects the enormity of the game. We're with them all the way.
