Here he comes, to save the day! Honestly, he's quite an effective player, but there is a comic-book-come-to-life element to Abel Xavier. I mean, he makes Alexi Lalas seem staid and conservative. Of course, Lexi has toned it down quite a bit from his playing days.

It's kind of appropriate/ironic that I'm listening to James Brown's "Living in America" as I look at that picture.
(That was a song on the loudspeaker here at HDC, not something I have on CD or anything...)
