Chivas USA has never beaten D.C. United. Actually, they're 0-4 against D.C. So maybe Chivas Guadalajara doesn't want to use those game tapes to study up on how to beat D.C. Maybe they should look at what the Galaxy did to D.C. a year ago.
Honestly, though, D.C. is a different team than the 2006 version so Chivas needs to look at the Olimpia games because that's really all that matters. Whatever the case is, they need to look at something because they admitted that they really don't know much about D.C.

If they think DC will play a style that even remotely resembles that of the USMNT, they're in for a surprise. Unfortunately (as a DC fan), DC's more latin style will probably suit Chivas better than the bunker-and-counter tactics the USMNT uses to frustrate El Tri. Chivas' classic 3-4-3 vs. DC's "3-5-2" (really a 3-4-3 w/ Gomez as a withdrawn striker) should lead to plenty of chances for both sides.
