Schedule stress

I'm a little stunned at the amount of posts Luis manages when he can't connect to the Internet from home. Me, I'm just now posting the pics from the World Series of Football event. In this shot, head honcho of AEG Sports, Tim Leiweke, talks with LA Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas and Galaxy coach Frank Yallop. Chelsea's director of business, Paul Smith, is laughing in the background. The Galaxy look like a strong team on paper, but a killer schedule, including this latest event, may take a toll. Alexi has already admitted that the Galaxy is giving up a competitive advantage by scheduling so many games on the road (so other teams can have a Beckham game on their books) in the most important part of the season. So for those who say games early in the MLS season don't matter, that's not true for LA. But that's exactly the stretch that they're going to have to face without Beckham.
