Viva the Spanglish!
Dom Kinnear does what many do when straining for a word or two in another language - he opts out and fills in with the words of the one he's more comfortable.
Perhaps. Latin was once close to a universal language (commonly spoken by learned people in different countries), and then it evolved into many other languages.
Depends on the time frame. Latin was actually spoken by everyone way back when. Sadly, the commoner's Latin, the more organic dialect, died out while only classical Latin, only spoken by the small aristocracy, is what survived.

I can go one better than Mr. Kinnear when describing the Galaxy:
Esos hijos de la chingada putamadre no saben de lo que hacen. Todo es mierda pura!
Oh, one more thing...
Buenos dias, Justin y Jaime! Como estais? Como les gusta trajabar con jefes tontos, eh?
At least I can say that I'll be ready when the reconquista takes place...
Sorry, I can't resist...
Oye, Justin! Como te gusta tener ningun razon sobre el club que sirves? Absolutamente ninguno?!?!?
