Merry Christmas

I just wanted to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season. I appreciate everything our beloved readers have done for us this year in supporting this blog and our writing efforts elsewhere.

All the best to you LB and AC. I hope that for the new year you both will land full time sports writing jobs. Hey maybe we can see a Sideline Views on Champions Soccer Radio Network:-) Enjoy the holidays folks!

Great idea East River!
AC and LB have great insight in areas not fully covered by CSRN. I'm sure the 2Gs can see that LB and AC can bring more to the network.

Merry Christmas to everybody and thanks to AC and LB for allowing us all to participate. Hope we have a great 2008 for the sport.

Been a fun year discovering this site and reading all the reports and opinions. Very addicting. The dramatic weight loss piece was probably the most awe inspiring, but this site was all over Becks and then the USWNT Saga - which may have been the biggest stateside soccer stories the past year. Thank you very much!

Feliz Navidad to both Andrea and Luis...and to all readers of this blog...

On a futbol related note-I write this as I am visiting my in-laws (flew to Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, and write this from the beautiful city of Merida)...my wife and her sisters think our pal Landon is a "doggie" since he peed on the field in Guadalajara...however, when I asked her 81-year old papa what he thought of Landon, his comment (papi no habla ingles), was "muy bueno"...

I guess when you score big goals that beat Mexico, respect is earned south of the border...
