While a few reporters, including me, interviewed Landon Donovan today, Larry Morgan of the San Gabriel Valley News was talking to Jimmy Conrad nearby. Conrad is an excellent interview, partly because he's never shy. He also isn't particularly soft-spoken; his enthusiastic replies to Larry's questions meant that everyone's recorders were picking up both Donovan and Conrad.
Finally, the U.S. team's press officer relocated the Donovan group, joking to Conrad about the volume of his conversation.
"I can't help that I'm well-educated!" Conrad protested.
