My best friend is from Venezuela, and the news of unrest in that country has grown. I was curious if it affected Cesar Farias, the Venezuelan Xolos coach who previously coached the country's national team, known as the La Vinotino for their burgundy uniforms.
I didn't get to ask Farias himself if he was following the protests, but I did ask Herculez Gomez if the coach seemed concerned or worried about the events in his home country.
"No, he’s a pro about that. I don’t think he’s ever brought it up."
