Listless Battle rankings (April 7)

1. Kansas City. Three goals - none from Lopez or Trujillo. Will KC's offense continue to be potent?
2. Chivas USA. Played ugly match, yielded bulk of possession but still won 3-1.
3. Houston. Answered questions about offense rather quickly.
4. Chicago. Things are going well when Chad Barrett scores.
5. DC United. Good news: four goals, including Marcelo Gallardo's first. Bad news: it was only Toronto FC on the other side.
6. New York. Maybe Red Bulls can be competitive without Jozy Altidore.
7. New England. Yes, the Revs played without Steve Ralston and Taylor Twellman, but what the hell is a 4-0 halftime deficit all about?
8. Colorado. Fought all the way until the end.
9. FC Dallas. Two late goals cost team four points in first two games.
10. Los Angeles. Somewhere between 4-0 drubbing in Colorado and 2-0 whitewash of San Jose is the real Galaxy team.
11. Columbus. At least Will Hesmer can stop penalties.
12. Real Salt Lake. Looked somewhat dangerous in second half but finishing was terrible.
13. Toronto FC. MLS' most fervent supporters are stuck with one of league's worst teams.
14. San Jose. Showed nothing in first game back.
