As Luis mentioned before, this match gets spicier with the new additions to both teams - McBride and Arena (though of course, Arena won't play, though he might be a better goalkeeper than Steve Cronin. Actually, probably not, considering that in the one game Arena played for the U.S. national team, he couldn't get a shut out, either.)

I was under the impression that it was Toronto FC that traded buddle to us in exchange for Tyrone Marshall...you stated in your article that it was Arena w/NYRB...which one's correct?

You're right, we got Buddle from Toronto, but Arena let him go from New York.
Is there a trade deadline? Are we stuck with Cronin for the rest of the season?
Trade deadline is September 15th.

Steve Cronin should never see a US MNT jersey up close, thus, I'd go with the Bruce in net over that muppet.
I acn't believe they've not addressed the GK position this season....more than Lalas, Gullit, Xavier et al, Cronin has been the root of all LA's woes.
