I really hope he gets his act together. As a fellow southerner, I've been rooting for him since he graduated from high school (he and Josh Wolf were big news even then).
I haven't seen him at the Home Depot Center since about May, I think. Early in the year, he was still coming in and working with Athlete's Performance, a fitness group based at the Center. Preki told me that there was a standing invite for JOB to come in and work out with the Chivas USA team to prove his fitness. They had dropped his contract, but still retain his rights. John hasn't come back, though, but he's also refused to give interviews on what he's doing now.

I have a feeling Cleetus will play an important role for the Galaxy next season.
I don't know much about Mathis
too summ it up short - very big talent, bad attitude or so is what I've heard/read.
However during those 2 games down under he impressed me a lot. the way he anticipated passes and he combined well with Becks and Donovan too.
Hopefully the G's will keep him and he will behave in a good way.

just wondering, when's the last time either of you saw John O'Brien around?
Adam, as a RBNY fan, I can tell you that Mathis' attitude has changed for the better. That's something you don't have to worry about.

please keep on the story, a.c.
He's kind of someone who is always in the back of American soccer fans' minds.
