Rise in confidence
My Press-Enterprise column for Tuesday. Some of the same kinds of things we've had on here but it helps get my PE readers amped up for the game on Saturday.

I don't buy the excuse that the calber of opponent stopped us from scoring at least one goal. Mexico scored against Argentina and actually created more chances to score against them than the US did. Also, Peru, of all teams managed to score against Spain as well. It's a lame excuse.
We don't really have anyone right now that is consistent up top. EJ seems to always get the job here (Bradley's choice) lately and please, it's time to move on. I'm tired of his play, never seems like he's willing to fight. Hopefully Jozy will develop in Spain maybe Cooper will get a chance and we'll see what he can do. Donovan is probably our only player right now and he's not a true striker more of the play maker. We'll see if Adu takes his role and Donavon can more forward a little. We have some young guys coming up that may help fill this need we'll see...
