On our way downstairs to the Galaxy presser, Billy Witz and I were held up by this V.I.P. Security stopped us to let him pass by. When we finally piled onto the elevator, a whole gaggle of reporters were waiting on the next floor. They weren't pleased to see us. Turns out their quarry took the freight elevator and eluded them. Here's a pic of the V.I.P. getting his daughter into the car.

ReplyDeleteThe thing that I think is cool about this is that guys like Kobe are getting a chance to Landon play. I think it's important that people start getting to see good American players, even if they're just coming to see Becks initially.

ReplyDeleteKobe was a soccer fan since he was a youngster lving in Italy. He became friends with Ronaldhino while working on some promo stuff a coupkle of years ago when BArcelona played Chivas GDL at the Coliseum. He was sitting way up top next to Antonio Villaraigoza during the match.
