From bottom to top
One minute, you're preparing for life with an expansion team - again. The next, you are on the defending Western Conference champions and a cup contender.
I think he is an expensive pick up for a player that is not expected to be a starter.
Maybe its just me, but I have a problem with with Pozniak making more money than Bornstein and Lawson...Combined! Well, not combined. But almost (Pozniak= $101,000; Bornstein+Lawson= $110,500).
Were you eavesdropping on my conversation about this very topic with a friend recently? Because I said the same exact thing! A lot of money for Pozniak for sure, and I made the exact same point about his salary equalling (or almost) that of Jonny B and The Law.
Really it was a bit of a necessity because Zoti went down but Pozniak has some good experience, albeit pricey one. But I think I like him at midfield more than I like Zoti so when Sacha leaves for the Olympics Pozniak could slide right in there and you still have Law in the back. He beefs up the right side for sure.
At least Chivas USA is planning to play its season during the Olympics. With the Galaxy's salary cap, thanks to Alexi "The Mad Genius" Lalas, the club is beyond toast when Donovan and Beckham leave for WC qualifying.
This and the Wicky pickup might be what puts Chivas over the top.

Good pick up, but an expensive bench player.
