Not that you can blame a shootout loss on a GK, but... Cannon went the wrong way on every kick, including the miss, and I believe the save (not sure 100%, it was very poorly taken). Calero, who is really annoying went the right way quite often.
I hope next year they can have the game a bit earlier in the night. 7pm pacific time would be okay, but that 8pm (11pm where I am)kickoff killed me.. or maybe I just need to back to the west coast.
My baseball team had a 10 run lead going into the bottom of the ninth this season, before we knew it the lead was down to 2 runs (numerous errors), I came in to pitch and gave up, a single, then a ground ball error to third that tied it and then with infield pulled in a bloop single to right that scored the walk off winner. BUT never have I ever been so devastated and disappointed as seeing Donovan blow that penalty kick......
How isn't Gordon the worst forward in the league right now?
