Real Madrid are leveling an interesting charge against Beckham - saying he signed with MLS before even listening to Real Madrid's offer. The sources I have say this didn't happen - yes, MLS made an offer, but Beckham did not agree to it until he heard out Real's pitch. No details on what Real offered, but it was apparently not to Becks liking, even insulting, I hear. So he accepted MLS's deal.
Thing is, when I wrote that the signs looked good for Beckham to come to MLS, that's what they were, indications that MLS was making a substantial offer and Beckham would be tempted. I wonder where Madrid got the info that Beckham signed before speaking to them.
