His call up to the USMNT for Copa America is a testament to hard work. Mathis, is a BIG no go (for those who suggested him)...he is simply benefitting from those aurrounding him. The rest of your team is solid and well thought out, although Ricardo Clark was a nice suggestion.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5437561489188679737.post-45191845295105465802007-06-26T11:56:00.000-07:002007-06-26T11:56:00.000-07:00Probably not Ralston and certainly not Gomez (he h...Probably not Ralston and certainly not Gomez (he has had a lot of sub-par performances this year). But, he hasn't been playing as well as he was at the beginning of the season, and so I don't really think he belongs on the all star team, either.

Ralson over Dorman is simple: you need a couple wing players in the midfield. Ralston on the right, and Gomez can play on the left.

What you're missing is a defensive midfielder. Maybe someone like Ricardo Clark or Shalrie Joseph instead of one of the Guille/Marinelli/Toja trio?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5437561489188679737.post-57087468245559193282007-06-26T10:06:00.000-07:002007-06-26T10:06:00.000-07:00I suppose, though, that Conway and Waterreus cance...I suppose, though, that Conway and Waterreus cancel each other out (and their lackluster performance over the last few weeks), but how about Carlos Mendes from RBNY, who has quietly been the anchor of one of the best (well, before injuries) defenses in the league?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5437561489188679737.post-27446816477446712752007-06-26T10:04:00.000-07:002007-06-26T10:04:00.000-07:00Bah. I just feel that he's had a strong campaign and has been a key part of the Revs and his passing ability is as strong as ever.

Mathis, too many reds for my taste. He's been rejuvenated somewhat but it's been tempered by the red cards.L.B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03932409909043501781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5437561489188679737.post-73740567541689443912007-06-26T08:30:00.000-07:002007-06-26T08:30:00.000-07:00Instead of Ralston and Gomez how about Dorman and ...Instead of Ralston and Gomez how about Dorman and MathisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
